Project Manager

Bare Steel Inc. is looking for an experienced, organized Project Manager to help lead steel construction projects throughout California. This role coordinates our customers, shop, field crews, vendors, schedules, drawings, and project requirements so every job moves from award to completion with clear communication and attention to detail.

Our work includes multi-family, commercial, and residential projects involving structural steel, stairs, railings, balconies, trellises, elevator steel, miscellaneous metals, and custom architectural steel.

What You’ll Do

• Manage assigned projects from kickoff through closeout
• Review plans, specifications, scope, schedules, and project requirements
• Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, approvals, and revisions
• Communicate with general contractors, developers, architects, engineers, vendors, and field teams
• Coordinate fabrication priorities, delivery dates, and installation schedules
• Track project milestones, changes, open items, and documentation
• Help identify conflicts early and keep projects moving
• Coordinate field measurements and site requirements with the installation team
• Maintain organized project records and clear customer communication
• Support quality, safety, schedule, and Bare Steel standards throughout the project

What We’re Looking For

• Construction project management or coordination experience
• Steel, miscellaneous metals, structural steel, or commercial construction experience preferred
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities
• Comfort working with office, shop, and field teams
• Professional communication with customers and project partners
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
